Today in the Daily Universe (school paper), there was a column with five websites "you shouldn't live without". I will share them with you now.
"By popular request, this week's Fab Five will feature five more Web sites you shouldn't live without.
Stumbleupon.com: Be prepared to waste every spare moment of your life on this. You create a profile of genres you are interested in (like art, humor, rock climbing, etc.) and you simply push the "stumble" button on your browser toolbar and random Web sites related to your profile pop up.
Projectplaylist.com: You can create song playlists for your personal Web sites or just listen to your favorite songs for free. Unlike iTunes, you actually get to listen to the whole song, and because you don't download anything, it's perfectly legal.
Earthalbum.com: Google Earth teamed up with Flickr to create a world map that as you scroll over a country, every photograph in Flickr's database that is tagged as being from that country comes up. It's like National Geographic times a million at the tip of your fingers.
Guerrillamail.com: You know those Web sites that make you give them your e-mail address so they can send you junk mail for the rest of your life? Guerrilla mail generates e-mail addresses that last for only 15 minutes, so you can use them to get registered and then let the junk mail disappear into cyberspace.
Ehow.com: Don't know how to eat a dragon fruit or how to select the right running shoe? Ehow will tell you. Endless how-to articles will teach you what you need to know from travel to business to sports."
With a lot of downtime at work, I find myself discovering great websites, including blogs, which are my new favorite past time, so I was excited to read about more somewhat useful websites. If you know of any other fun websites, make a comment!
