Friday night Bekah, Liz, and I went to the Rooftop Concert. It was all local artists covering Beatles songs and it was amazing and incredible (and I won 8 free yoga classes!).

Saturday morning my friend Cerissa met me and Bekah at Macey's for free french toast breakfast (great tradition I would say). It was delicious. Then Bekah and I got ready and headed up to American Fork to the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. Our really good friends Kurt and Heidi were being sealed there and Bekah and I were Kurt's bridesmaids so we went up there to see them when they came out of the temple and to be in pictures. I didn't take any of the group (everyone and their mom was taking pictures) but here's a couple of me and Bekah.

Saturday night was spent at the Kurt and Heidi's wedding reception in Alpine. It was beautiful and perfect. And I didn't take any pictures...
Sunday night Liz, and Bekah, and I rode our bikes down to University Avenue where everyone (I mean EVERYONE) was camping out for the parade. While we were standing talking to some friends a HUGE group of people on bikes (with music!) rode by so Liz and I grabbed our bikes and joined them. We rode around for about 30 minutes. It was so fun to see how many people were camping out for the parade!

Monday morning we woke up bright and early, biked down to the parade route, met up with our friends and watched the parade. The other people around were almost as entertaining as the parade was. 4th of July weekend in Provo brings out all kinds of people.
Then we walked over to Center St. for Freedom Days, got some food, and walked around for a while.

Freedom Days was followed by a movie, a nap, and a rained out barbecue (or rained in? we all moved inside when the rain started).
It was a great American weekend!
