IT'S OK YOU GUYS. I'm alive. It's fine. Grad school takes up a lot of time, and I haven't figured out what to do with my blog yet. Any suggestions?

In the meantime, let's talk about this:


I just want to say something: when this trailer first came out and everyone was complaining about Anne Hathaway and how her voice isn't good enough to sing this part, I said, to multiple people, that I bet they are doing the movie a little differently and having her sing the song slightly imperfectly, not because she can't sing, but because it would make it more moving. When you think about the context of the song, it just makes sense to hear the imperfections and catches in her voice while she sings about being in the depths of despair. BOO YAH.

And yes, I almost cried watching this. I CANNOT wait for this movie.
