Ok, it's cold outside, not cool.
It snowed this weekend, also not cool.
Cool: watching Hocus Pocus while drinking hot chocolate.
Last week was insane. I don't know where I mustered up all the energy to do everything I did. And it wasn't over until last night. I won't bore you with the details but I had two tests, a paper, a presentation, and a last-minute musical number to conjure up. I also made a video PSA for one of my classes. After the craziness of the last 10 days, I learned to appreciate weekends. I didn't get to really enjoy this past weekend. There was no relief felt on my way home from work Friday afternoon. I was constantly thinking about everything I had left to do and how many hours I should spend studying. I went to a fun bonfire/party on Friday night. And although I was sleep deprived and stressed, it was nice to take a short break. I went to the Homecoming game on Saturday and froze but it was fun. The rest of the weekend was kind of crazy but I got a lot done, including a successful musical number. After my long day yesterday I wanted nothing else but to curl up under a blanket and watch a movie. And I did. And it was great...
One of the major accomplishments of the weekend was the production of a Public Service Announcment (PSA). For my epidemiology class, our group had to create a PSA about Pertussis (whooping cough) vaccination. My group got some footage a couple weeks ago and we met on Saturday morning to create our video. We worked on it for almost 5 hours but we completed the video, put it on YouTube and are now watching the number of viewers. Part of our grade is how many viewers watch the video. To view the PSA please click here.
Also cool: We won our flag football game last week. We are undefeated with 2 games left until the tournament.
