Katie and Becca and I threw and awesome party a couple weeks ago. The week before, Becca went to her cousin's birthday party and they had black lights and highlighters and everyone drew on each other with the highlighters because they glow under the black light! Katie and I were fascinated and thought it would be awesome to have a big dance party like that. We didn't want to put it off so we scheduled it for the next weekend.
Friday (the day of the party) was spent in preparation for that night. We had already gotten the black lights so we left to get highlighters and sustenance. When we got back we started setting up. Katie had gotten a bunch of leftover poster paper from her office and we taped it all over the walls. Chris came over with his speakers and Rebecca helped him set them up. At 9:00pm, we turned on the music and started the party.
It was awesome. Everyone loved it and had so much fun. Some of our friends brought over a big, real black light which definitely helped. Everyone got way into it and drew all over their shirts, the walls, and other people. We couldn't have been happier about the success of the party!
