In honor of the first day of school, I have provided you with an equation.
Equation
boys + airsoft guns + deserted apartment complex = epic battle
girls + water balloons + balcony = epic retaliation
epic battle + epic retaliation = chaos + injury + prank
prank = bucket of water leaned against a door + gravity
injury = skinned elbow + airsoft pellet welt on the neck
I'll spell it out for you:
The boys play airsoft gun battles at the apartment complex a couple nights a week. The girls decided they wanted to play and got water balloons to throw at them during this self-proclaimed "battle royale". The girls hid on the balcony and waited for the boys. The girls threw the water balloons. The boys got wet. The boys started shooting. I got shot in the neck. Rebekah fell on her elbow. Dave tried to come up to the balcony but the bedroom door was locked. He picked the lock but we leaned against the door and he couldn't get it. Dave filled up a bucket of water and leaned it against the door and told us we couldn't come out. We were determined to come out and decided we could catch the bucket before it fell. We didn't and a couple gallons of water spilled onto the carpet.
Good thing we're all friends because there were no hard feelings and no one is holding a grudge.
But I still have a welt on my neck.
