never again

This is probably what I'll be talking about when someone asks for my most embarrassing moment.

I live in a house with 6 other girls. We are awesome. So awesome, in fact, that our Asian (may or may not be relevant) roommate bought a Wii from ebay. Off ebay. On ebay? Through ebay. Anyway, it came. And it came with a few games, including Just Dance. Ok. This game is incredible if you like dancing. I love dancing. Here's a little preview of the type of thing you'll see playing Just Dance. We play this game a lot. Rebekah and I have a couple dances almost memorized and some of the high scores.



Then something changed. Last weekend, my Asian roommate (less relevant here) splurged on Just Dance 2. I didn't even know they made Just Dance 2! Ok, I really can't tell you how excited I was. It was like Christmas morning and I had just gotten the best gift of all time. Rebekah and I played as soon as we got home that night. And of course we loved it. And a little taste of the sequel:



I'm sorry, what was that? Duet? Yes, there are duets, Bollywood duets even. Christmas morning right??

Ok, now here's where it gets good.

It was too dark to go running last night so I told Rebekah that I was going to do Just Dance 2 for my workout. By the time I got to it, there were three of us. In our workout clothes. Figuring out how to make this a really good workout. There ended up being four of us. For about two hours. Dancing. Non-stop. Handing off controllers. Switching partners. Singing along. With the curtains open. Curtains open.

After I finally sat down, Asian roommate came in to show me something on her phone. What could it be??

"Tell Amanda to keep dancing. They are putting on quite a show in there! :)"

From my neighbor, Alex. How long he was standing out there watching us? And, more importantly, why did he single me out??

Probably because I was the best dancer. Or the most ridiculous.

But probably because I was the best.
