ok alright fine. i'm back.

Stale chocolate-covered cinnamon bears are not the greatest. (Hannah, I was saving them for so long that I kept forgetting about them! Don't worry, I did sneak a lot of fresh ones.)

I lived out of a suitcase for the last two weeks and, now that I have my whole closet to choose from, everything I wore today came out of that suitcase.

Doubling up on tights is a great thing that has happened to me.

Confession: I've only had one glass of water today. Everything else has been carbonated.

I get a panicky feeling when I think about a whole new year ahead. It's a little overwhelming. I haven't even written down my resolutions.

Family is the best thing in the world. Ever. Specifically mine.

Coming back to great friends is a huge blessing in my life.

I made a few awesome things while I was home with the help of my amazing, talented mother. They will be showcased here in the near future.

One of my favorite people ever left this morning to live in Jerusalem for four months. Our house won't be the same without her. Good thing she left a few pairs of shoes around for us to remember her by.

I have the cutest most adorable perfect nephew of all time. I fell asleep to the sound of his cooing in my head last night.

I don't really want to blog anymore. It's not as fun when everyone has one. And everyone has one. Everyone.

I just got back last night from Iowa. I was there for two weeks. It already seems like it was a dream.

And to end on an encouraging, forward-looking note:

Life is going to be awesome. And don't let me forget.
