just love them

I've made these twice in the last two weeks. And I shared them. I'm not totally sure why I was so willing to share them considering how delicious they are, but I guess I'm just a really nice person.

Peanut Butter Babies

1/2 cup butter, melted

2 cups graham cracher crumbs (1 pkg crushed)

2 cups powdered sugar

1 cup peanut butter

1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (you can add a little pb or butter to the choc chips if you want it softer)

In a medium bowl, mix together the butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and 1 cup peanut butter until well blended. Add enough powdered sugar that it doesn't look wet and is harder to stir. Press evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch pan.

In a metal bowl over simmering water, or in the microwave, melt the chocolate chips. Spread over the prepared crust. Refrigerate for at least one hour before cutting into squares.

If you want more chocolate, you can melt another batch of chocolate chips/pb mixture. Then cut the babies up into squares and turn them upside down onto a foil-covered cookie sheet and drizzle the 2nd batch of melted chocolate onto the squares so they’re mainly covered. Put back in the fridge until they set and then you can throw them into a tupperware. (Recipe from my sister, Amy.)
