please remember

eat:
Chicken and waffles. I had this on Sunday with my brother and sister and it was delicious. I don't have a recipe, just some basic directions:
1. Make fried chicken (or buy it, whatever floats your boat)
2. Make waffles (from scratch or not, or frozen, I'm easy)
3. Put the chicken on top of the waffle
4. Syrup
5. Eat this crazy, delicious food.

I've been obsessed with these guys lately. And then I found their acoustic versions. Talk about obsessed.

look:
Polly and I hiked the Y on Saturday. We both struggled a lot with that altitude business. The weather was perfect, cool and a little foggy, and we were basically hiking through a cloud.

On our way down we heard some girls getting a little rowdy and when we turned the corner we could see something large, and black, and moving and when we got close enough we realized it was a TARANTULA. You guys, A TARANTULA. Just there, on the trail, walking around, free to do whatever it wanted. I freaked out a little but didn't want to embarrass anyone so I just kept my distance. Then an older couple with a dog came behind us and the women kept going on and on about how beautiful this creature was. I just nodded and smiled. She told us it wasn't poisonous so that was a relief and then she moved it off the trail. (She was probably afraid for her dog's life, I would be.)

We made it to the top of the Y!

The creature. It was probably 5 inches across. I hate it.
