It's been a while since I've written so I'm just posting a bunch of photos with a brief description.

These are the waitresses after work. We had to have a photo shoot to capture the amazing uniforms! I wish you could see the ruffle on the bottom of the dress!

Saturday we decided to hike to Laie Falls. We got directions from a couple sources just to make sure we didn't get lost because we heard about these girls who accidentally climbed to the summit instead of to the falls and it's twice as far. It was Megan, Becca, Jessica, Mit (a guy I work with) and his friend Abel. Abel had done the hike before so we were glad to have him with us! It was a perfect day for a hike: rainy. The trailhead was probably a mile away and we were told to take a picture of the trail map so we didn't get lost.

The hike was so fun and it was gorgeous. We were basically hiking through the jungle. I felt like I was on Lost except we weren't lost. When we got to the falls we had lunch and watched the boys try to catch some fresh water shrimp - kind of gross. After talking about it for a while I finally got in the water. I kept hearing from people that you can't hike there and not get in the water! I convinced Becca to get in with me and the water was so cold! We swam over to the falls and tried to climb up but we failed. We were a little grossed out by the water so we got out and dried off and headed home. I was so sore the next day!

Last week Becca and I went to Haleiwa. It's a little surfing town on the North Shore. We stopped in a few of the shops and galleries but we got so bored and we were supposed to wait for Jessica and Megan but we decided to leave early. We had to get Matsumoto's shaved ice because it's famous.

After we got our shaved ice we called to see when the next bus was coming. We had 2 minutes to get to the bus stop. Then we saw the bus so we ran with our shaved ice and made it before the bus left but the bus driver wouldn't let us on with our shaved ice! So, we had to wait 30 minutes for the next bus :( While we waited I tried to take a picture of us with our shaved ice but I couldn't get everything in, I tried so many times, that's why we are laughing so hard!

This is at Waimea Bay. A bunch of us went last Tuesday for the day.

At Waimea Bay there is a 20 foot rock that everyone jumps off of. There is a sign right next to it that says not to climb the rock :)It was scary to look down from the top but I didn't let myself think about what I was doing and I just jumped. I got so much water up my nose, it hurt so bad but it was so fun! We jumped off the rock a few more times later in the day.

The beach here was so gorgeous. The water was really clear and it got deep really fast so it was fun to swim in because you didn't have to worry about stepping on anything strange!
