Tribute

This entry is a tribute. A tribute to a group of men. This group of men cannot be replaced by anyone else. They have qualities that may not be found in any other group. These men have a bond. Not a Brokeback bond, but a genuine, strong, man-friend bond. Without each other, these men would fall, or something like that. They watch out for each other, they stand up for each other, and although they may take away each others' man cards, they do it for the good of each other. Some of the friendships may have begun in the spring and some may last well into the fall, but the Boys of Summer will always be the Boys of Summer.

Chris "CinnaBelly" Florence: Chris moved back into Chatham Towne after a brief hiatus and we are forever grateful for his return. He is killer at sound effects and drawing monsters (killer as in awesome, not like guns and body bags). He just got a new long board and he loves the scooter.

Pete "Triathasaurus" Davis: Pete is finally getting rid of his sports bra tan and I think we owe that to the Boys and their summer adventures. Pete will go on any adventure and is often looking for one. He is our residential ChaCha representative so you can ask him anything.

Chad "The Man" Duford: We call Chad "the man" for some reason but I haven't figured it out yet. Chad is a great softball consultant. Without that plaid, he would be nothing! Although slightly mysterious, we can count on Chad for a great barbecue.

Chris "The Minority" Robertson: I really got to know Chris after spending an evening in
Salt Lake City at an outdoor concert. Even thought the diversity made him a little uneasy, he was a great sport. I don't think anything could wipe that smile of his face.

Patrick "Shoulders" Kramer: Although Patrick may look like a loner when sitting in a crowded place, it's only because Chris and Chad are overshadowed by his shoulders and won't sit by him. Patrick is ready to jam whenever there is an opportunity and his witty comments often bring a laugh.

Wyatt "Healthy" Walker: Yeah, sometimes I call him "Healthy" but mostly we just call him Wyatt. Wyatt's on a diet and he's always working out but he looks great. We always seem to be compromising for his diet but he makes up for it in personality.

Matt "THE FUNNIEST GUY IN THE WARD" Brown: I don't even know if Matt knows what a joke is. He's pretty good at most things and he coined the term Boys of Summer. I don't think his man card has ever been taken away.



I will never forget the Boys of Summer and hopefully they will never forget the girls that grace them with their presence.
