wasted

One thing I really don't like is wasted humor. Not humor about being wasted, but a funny comment or joke that goes to waste because someone didn't get it or had to one-up the joke by saying something funnier. I don't claim to be the funniest person around, but I say some funny things occasionally and I can't stand when it goes to waste. I mean, if you don't want to hear something funny, maybe you should warn everyone around you so they don't waste their humor on you.
