A Pouncing Lesson

As I was browsing through some facebook pictures to find one for the previous post I came across one that deserves a whole post all on it's own. But the story comes first.

Last Friday, I was hanging out with my besties (Bex and Em and Em), as usual, and we decided to go to a birthday party for a girl that Em/Em know. The theme was "preppy" (that's not very relevant to the story except that it might explain what we're wearing). Bex and I sat on the couch for a while, we met a couple guys, watched people dance, Bex got a butt in her face, you know, normal party stuff. After a while we decided to get up to join the dancing because the music finally just spoke to us. We danced to a few songs, got a little crazy (not really, but maybe, no, we didn't), you know, normal dancing stuff.

Eventually someone decided we need to take a picture. Of course we want to take a picture! I didn't even know half the people in the group but of course you have to take a picture! Let's take a picture!

Ok, now for the nitty gritty. We asked a guy named "Romney" (who I met earlier in the evening) to take the picture. He and his friend stepped back to get the whole crew in. His friend seemed very involved in the process. After this first picture, Romney gave the camera to his friend and stepped off to the side. It took his friend a while to get set up for the picture. Meanwhile, Romney was just off to the left of the group, looking a little bit like a lion ready to pounce. 

Obviously I couldn't keep my eyes on him because we were taking another picture but I could tell he had something in mind. Finally his friend started to count for the picture and Romney was like a nervous first-time racer about to false-start on the starting line. "One.....two....

THREE!"

Yep, that's "Romney", planting a big wet one on my face. I know I look totally disgusted by what is happening but please don't assume that I hate a good cheek-kiss. Just surprise pounces.
