One of my new Fourth of July traditions is french toast for breakfast. Any tradition that involves breakfast food is a great idea. And here is the recipe for the best syrup ever:
Homemade Buttermilk Syrup:
1 cup buttermilk
2 cubes of butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
Bring to boil, turn off heat.
Add:
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla
