learning how to sail my ship

Abigail and I made banana bread last weekend and I finally got some of it last night. It was like the best ever.

Banana Bread
½ cup butter
¾ cup sugar
1 egg
4 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp milk
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup mashed bananas (2-3)
½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Mix butter, sugar, egg, lemon juice, and milk in a large bowl. Mix flour, baking soda, salt in a small bowl. Add to butter/sugar mixture. Stir in mashed bananas. Pour into greased bread pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. For muffins bake for 20 minutes. While it is delicious fresh out of the oven with butter melted on a slice, it is also very delicious the next day. Or even a few days later.
