baby shower: food and decor. and friends.

 Last Saturday I threw a baby shower for my friend Katie. She's due in just a couple weeks! My friends Erin and Hannah and I did it together and it was really fun! Everything turned out really great.

Erin made the adorable fabric bunting in the background. 

We had pasta salad, fruit salad, cake balls, mini bundt cakes and really cute elephant-shaped sugar cookies with pink frosting and gold sprinkles.

This is the bunting I worked really hard on. I was up until 2:00am the night before but it turned out great! (more details coming Monday)

The shower was really fun. We just ate food and opened presents and wrote our wishes for Katie's baby. After most people left the few of us that were still there went for round two on the food and hung out for, seriously, another two hours. There were a couple girls there that I don't see very often so it was really great to catch up. It was so fun to work with Hannah and Erin and to throw such a fun party!
