But it's also the first installment of "What I Like In Cambodia"!
Today's episode is called "The Rooster Down the Street". There are a lot of animals in Cambodia. Mostly cats and dogs that kind of wander the street and eat out of the trash. I've also seen a couple rats. And geckos are spotted on every wall outside. The biggest surprise was this guy.
This guy is probably most like a pet than any of the other animals. He is only outside when his owner is, and he just walks around, picking at stray rice or whatever else is around.
Just look at him. Hanging out on the street like he owns the place. It makes me so happy when I'm walking home from work and I hear the familiar sound of the rooster.
